Unlike urban communities, rural communities in Africa tend to consist of relatives and families living together. Hence, most development efforts are reliant upon family and community cohesion. Communities are vital in the development and sustainability efforts of African rural communities, and measures are needed to improve the socio-economic balance of these communities. Advancements in education, skills, healthcare, and living conditions are a few of the primary factors which need the most attention. These projects require extensive efforts, manpower, funds, and government and non-government organizational support to uplift and overcome the challenging conditions of the rural African community. Combined efforts are the way forward towards the prosperity of the African Nation and will ensure strength and fortitude in the global community.
